Procedure for Portrait Commissions :
An initial meeting, perhaps over coffee or lunch, is important to establish a rapport, and discuss expectations and procedure with my client; I see the painting of a portrait as a joint venture.
A discussion sheet and samples of previous portraits are sent to you prior to our initial meeting.
Following this meeting, three or four sittings of 2 - 3 hours each will be necessary, dependent on the type of portrait you are looking for.
A digital photo of the final painting will be sent to you, (by email or snail mail) for approval prior to shipping.
Terms :
Should you decide to proceed after our initial meeting, 25% down payment will be required at that time, with the balance on shipping/delivery.
Costs do not include travel expense or framing, although a matt and sealed backing are provided.
